I grew up from a humble background in Africa, Nigeria and saw the hight of poverty and pains. Several years ago l was hospitalized, and in deep pains. I should have been dead, but then l prayed and asked God to spare my life, and He did. While in the hospital l saw people die, mostly especially the poor who couldn't afford medical bills. So l decided to pay for them. There was one particular man who was in a crisis situation. I immediately requested the hospital management to give me his medical bills which l paid, but unfortunately, l was informed the man didn't make it. I wept... This particular incidence is what gave birth to the Gabriel Iduseri Humanitarian Foundation. To give help to the poor and the less privileged in Africa. We visit hospitals, to request for information of people who can't pay for their medical bills and after a thorough investigation of their cases, we pay their bills. There is the case of a young girl who had a very serious accident and broke her arm. Her parents couldn't afford the medical bills and as such, the arm started decaying as a result of lack of fund to continue her treatment. All that was required was Six Hundred Thousand Nigeria naira. The Gabros Foundation took it over and paid it all. Today, the young girl is doing well and can now use her arm . We believe in giving, and we are strongly convinced that giving is living. Until you reach out to the less privileged and the poor, you are not actually fulfilling purpose. Our mission in Africa is to impact lives by showing love, kindness and care; this is what gives me joy: putting smiles on faces. Am glad that today , through the timely intervention of the Gabriel Iduseri Humanitarian Foundation, the young girl can now smile.
Love is our motivating factor, to reach the needy. You can't give what you do not have. We give, because Jesus Christ shows us the need to reach others with love.
